Scarlett Johansson is a "dimwit" when it comes to technology.

The stunning star has played a variety of roles throughout her career; from Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow in numerous Marvel films, to a super evolved human in Lucy.

However when it comes to real life, Scarlett just can't fake being tech savvy.

"I'm a dimwit," she laughed to British magazine Hello! "I have no capability with it at all. In fact, I think I'm one of those people who have some negative ion thing going on where every single thing they touch frazzles, breaks and has no function.

"I'm just not interested [in social media]. I want to connect with people I know, not people I don't know. I go to a restaurant and see families and all the children are checking their smartphones, so they're involved with their friends somewhere out there but totally disconnected from what's happening around them. That just seems weird to me."

Scarlett is back to her Black Widow best with the latest Marvel outing Avengers: Age of Ultron. Superhero favourites Robert Downey Jr. returns as Iron Man and Chris Hemsworth as Thor.

Mark Ruffalo is also back as green machine The Hulk, with romance said to be on the cards for him and Black Widow.

"Well, we find out more about both their backgrounds - they witnessed some pretty heinous stuff but they're ready to get into a different phase of their lives. Natasha can kind of tame the beast that is Hulk and I think that comes from maternal feelings that she's never been able to experience before," Scarlett explained.
