Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s eldest son Maddox reportedly wants to “hang with kids his own age.”

The actress and her fiancé Brad Pitt raise six children together.

Although Maddox, 11, loves his younger brothers and sisters it is rumoured that he is tiring of hanging out with his siblings most of the time.

The family has lived all over the world together, taking up residence in England, France, New Orleans and Los Angeles in recent years.

Apparently Maddox no longer embraces his nomadic lifestyle and desires to settle down.

“[Maddox] is growing up and wants to play sports and hang with kids his own age,” a source told Star magazine.

“He told his mom he really hates being home-schooled and wants to stay in one place.”

It is said that Angelina, who is also a part of the Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, embraces her cosmopolitan lifestyle.

Remaining stationary is not on her agenda.

“She can only handle it in L.A. for short periods of time,” the insider explained.

“She doesn’t really like to stay in any place for too long. They had a big fight over it.”

Brad is rumoured to be siding with his son in this matter.

The star was a sportsman in his youth and would love to see Maddox become involved in athletics.

“Brad has said he can’t wait for the day when he can cheer his kids on when they are playing sports,” the insider said.

“He played football in school and wants the boys in particular to know what it’s like to be on a team.”
