Jon Hamm went to rehab last month for alcohol abuse.

The Mad Men actor checked into the Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut, for 30 days at the end of February.

His representative told TMZ.com that Jon sought help in the facility for alcohol abuse.

“With the support of his long-time partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction,” the 44-year-old’s spokesperson said. “They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward.”

While it is not clear exactly when Jon checked out of Silver Hill, he was seen at Los Angeles’ LAX Airport on Tuesday.

Jon’s Mad Men alter ego Don Draper is rarely seen on screen without a drink in his hand.

And Jon previously opened up about his love of alcohol.

Speaking about why he enjoys golfing, Jon told Esquire magazine in a 2014 interview: “It’s an excuse to get out of the house and talk s**t and drink beer.”

Mad Men comes to a conclusion this year after seven seasons.

But opening up recently about the end of the hit show, Jon admitted he was fearful about just what the future holds.

“Look, the one constant thing I've had in my career is now removed,” Jon told GQ magazine. “And that's an eye-opener: Are people still going to take me seriously? Am I just going to do romantic comedies for the rest of my life? What's next? And I don't know, you know? I wish I was smug enough to have had a grand plan.”
