Kardashian 'puts baby shower pressure on Kanye'

Kim Kardashian has persuaded Kanye West to appear at her baby shower, which is being filmed for her TV show.

The reality star will celebrate the impending arrival of her first child with family and friends at a bash next month. The baby shower promises to be a lavish affair and is being hosted by her mom Kris Jenner, as well as Kim’s sisters Kourtney and Khloé. The party will be captured for the family’s reality show, and while Kanye usually prefers to avoid appearing in episodes, he has agreed to make a brief cameo for the special occasion.

“Kim had to beg Kanye to stop by the baby shower which is taking place on June 2. The baby shower will be filmed for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and he just doesn’t want to appear on the show at all, period,” a source told Radar. “Kim nagged him until he agreed when she said it would look really bad if he didn’t show up. Kanye thinks it’s silly to even go to the baby shower since he will be the only man there. He will be there for less than ten minutes, tops. It was important to Kim that he go, so he agreed.”

The baby shower is being held on June 2. It is not known where the event will take place, but dress code is described as 'garden chic'.

Kim is expected to give birth in July. She has previously said that she doesn’t want her baby to be featured in the show so that the new family can enjoy some privacy.

However, Kim is still letting cameras follow her around late into her pregnancy. In an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the 32-year-old is seen finding out the sex of the baby during a doctor’s appointment.
