Kate Hudson says no to Speedos

Kate Hudson hates Speedos.

The blonde actress isn't opposed to small swimwear herself, but when it comes to the opposite sex she cannot abide tiny trunks.

Talking to the British edition of Esquire magazine, 35-year-old Kate has come up with a list of do's and don'ts when it comes to impressing her.

"I’m not a big fan of Speedos. My brother wore a Speedo once at his wedding; that was maybe the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Basically he ended up offending other guests at the hotel and had to leave the pool area. As his sister I have to say it was pretty offensive," she laughed to the publication.

Other turn offs for the star include arrogance, stinky feet and bad breath. She'd also balk if a guy sent her a selfie of his six-pack.

On the subject of hair, Kate admits she's not too fussy with what she likes, and thinks her fiancé Matthew Bellamy has his tresses spot on.

"Right now Matt's hair is getting long; he’s not growing it, he just hasn’t cut it and he’s had to put it up a few times, in like a knot. That’s pretty sexy," she smiled.

Her tips for how to impress her are sincerity, a quirky dress sense and an active lifestyle.

"The best quality in a man is honesty. You want someone who says what they mean and mean what they say. Even if they tell you they never want to see you again, hey, at least you know.

"Women don’t want to be in the cold, we want to know. C'mon, we’re not mind readers," she added.
