Socialite Kendall Jenner is reportedly hooked on a book of dating rules.
The 19-year-old reality-star-and-model has been linked to famous faces Harry Styles and Justin Bieber in the past. More recently she has been spotted with Formula 1 racing driver Lewis Hamilton and singer Nick Jonas, but it’s believed the star has no plans of getting serious with anyone thanks to her new guide. Kendall is reportedly enthralled by self-help book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man, by Steve Harvey.
“Steve is a family friend of the Kardashians,” a source told Britain’s Now magazine. “He could see Kendall was getting a lot of male attention and wasn’t sure how to deal with it. He gave her some advice and told her to read the book and she’s hooked. She’s been telling friends it's changed the way she thinks about guys.”
The book is a New York Times bestseller and advises women on how to be the “keeper” rather than a “sports fish”. Steve also warns women not to sleep with a man before 90 days or to expect men to react to situations the same way they do.
Kendall’s obsession with the tome has apparently been a great source of amusement for sister Kylie, 18, and half-sisters Kourtney, 36, Kim, 34, and Khloé, 31.
“Kendall’s sisters think her new dating rules are hilarious but she’s resolute,” the insider continued. “It’s a case of treating them mean and keeping them keen but it’s working. Every guy she’s ever wanted is begging to take her out. The book is never far from her side.”
As well as being spotted out and about with Lewis, 30, Kendall has spent time with Jealous singer Nick, 23. But despite claims his brother Joe and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid – who is close friends with Kendall – were trying to set them up, they were recently spotted at the same event, doing their own thing.
“Nick and Kendall arrived and walked in together, but immediately separated,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly. “Kendall went and hugged Gigi and stayed talking with her the rest of the night. Nick was mingling around the party and dancing with several attractive women - Kendall didn’t seem to mind.”
