Kendall Jenner reportedly found Kim Kardashian's GQ shoot "embarrassing".
The half-siblings rose to fame on reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but have now followed different career paths. While Kim, 33, is focusing on clothing and make-up ventures, 18-year-old Kendall has gone down the high-end fashion route, modelling the likes of Marc Jacobs and Diane von Furstenberg's Spring/Summer 15 lines during the latest New York Fashion Week.
Meanwhile, Kim shot a saucy set of pictures for British GQ, posing completely nude while reclining on silky bed sheets. Apparently the snaps incensed her younger half-sister.
"Kendall finds Kim taking her clothes off really embarrassing and decided to prove that she could outdo her big sister," a source told UK magazine Star, adding that snaps of the younger star posing nude for Victoria's Secret photographer Russell James were in response to Kim's shoot.
"She's told Kim she doesn't want to be publicly associated with the Kardashian circus and its trashy reputation anymore."
Rumours have also been circulating that the budding model has "banned" Kim from any catwalk shows she's walking in.
In addition to this, Kendall recently spoke out about where her career is headed.
"I was like, 'You know what? I want to be high fashion.' I want to be taken seriously ... People think that this [success] just came to me. But it didn't. What I have has almost worked against me. I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn't take me seriously as a model. Because of the TV show," she admitted to LOVE magazine.
"I went on castings and some people weren't feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn't recognise me. I was like, 'Thank you. Please don't recognise me.'"
However things may not be going so smoothly with her catwalk career, with reports surfacing earlier this week that models have been bullying her backstage at Fashion Week shows.
Despite this, Kendall still managed to shine at Fendi's Milan Fashion Week show yesterday.
