Kevin Bacon builds bathtub for wife

Kevin Bacon is overcome with joy every time he showers his wife and kids with love.

The 54-year-old actor has been married to his actress spouse Kyra Sedgwick for nearly 25 years and the couple share two children together: Travis, 23, and Sosie, 20.

Kevin is always willing to tell Kyra or his kids, “I love you.”

In fact he never escapes the chance to.

“[I said it] 20 minutes ago,” he told People magazine.

“Every time I go up to my wife and kids I say it. It's a really good feeling to tell them I care.”

Kevin also lavishes his brood with gifts.

When Kyra mentioned her desire to take a luxurious bath he promptly fulfilled her wish.

“My wife always wanted a bathtub,” he explained.

“So I secretly had one put in our New York home. Every time she takes a bath now, she tells me, ‘Thank you so much, honey. I just had the greatest bath!’ ”

Kevin won’t hesitate to shed tears if he is emotionally moved.

He has no qualms about exhibiting how he really feels.

“I saw Life of Pi and cried four times,” Kevin shared.

“I was knocked out by it. I'm not afraid to show my emotions. I'll cry and let it all out and not be embarrassed.”

He is not always a softie.

Kevin is able to remain stoic and focused on when engaging in daily tasks.

“I take the subway every day. It's the fastest way to get around the city. When I'm on the train, I play Solitaire, Angry Birds and Backgammon on my phone,” he said.
