Nicole Kidman’s daughters have no interest in becoming actresses.

The 47-year-old actress is mother to Sunday Rose, six, and four-year-old Faith Margaret with husband Keith Urban.

And while Nicole has made a hugely successful career for herself in the movie business, she says that her offspring won’t be following in her footsteps.

“I think they would actually run the other way!” Nicole said, while attending a New York screening of Paddington on Tuesday.

“Acting was just my desire and my motivation, and I don’t see that in Sunday or Faith. They’re like, ‘Nope, we’re not interested.’ ”

Despite her tender age, Nicole’s eldest daughter Sunday already has a career goal in mind. And her intention couldn’t be further from her mother’s profession.

“Sunday wants to be a vet right now and a party planner,” Nicole said. “Then she says she wants to be a stay-at-home mom and have eight children. I think that’s her way of saying to me, ‘Stay at home!’ ”

While Nicole considered becoming a stay at home mother after she gave birth to Sunday, it was chatting to her own mother that changed her mind.

And the actress admits she’s pleased she didn’t give up her career altogether when she became a parent.

“At one point, I was going to stop working. It was when I was pregnant with Sunday, and I just went, ‘I’m done,’ ” Nicole said. “I don’t want to be in that place of pain where I’m missing things.”

“My mom, who gave up her job and raised us, said, ‘You should still do something creative. You should still keep a finger in the pot. I just feel that’s your destiny. You shouldn’t give that up completely.’ I was like, ‘You’re right, Mom.’ ”
