Kim K pulled over by police

Kim Kardashian has been pulled over by police for her tinted windows.

The reality star was stopped by authorities on Monday morning while driving her $150,000 black SUV in Calabasas, California.

Kim appeared to be alone in the vehicle when she was asked to stop the Mercedes-Benz due to its overly dark windows. Her one-year-old daughter North West was not believed to have been in the car at the time.

After around five minutes talking to a male police officer, Kim was let go with just a warning.

An onlooker at the scene commented that the mother-of-one handled the incident “like a pro”.

“Kim totally used her star power and flirty personality to weasel her way out of a ticket,” the witness told gossip website X17Online.com.

However, the fact that Kim didn’t get a ticket is likely to raise eyebrows, especially as it is the second time she has been pulled over for the same issue.

In March 2013 Kim was stopped by police while driving the same vehicle and given a warning once again for the tint.

While many celebrities opt for dark windows to hide themselves from the prying eyes of fans, it is considered a safety issue in California if the tint is too obstructive for the driver.

Kim has so far remained silent about the incident, making no comment on her social networking sites.

One of her most recent postings on Instagram saw the 33-year-old posted a montage of headshots of herself with the caption, “The many moods of me”.

She also posted a series of videos promoting the most recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which aired on Sunday night.
