Kim Kardashian has been immortalised as a fertility shrine.
Sculptor Daniel Edwards created the stone statue of the reality star’s pregnant shape to bring luck to couples who touch it.
The artwork, called L.A. Fertility, is on view at LAB ART Gallery in Los Angeles.
It also features a stone head piece and earrings
According to UK newspaper The Mirror, the artist “wanted to change people’s minds about the female form” and thought Kim would make the perfect subject.
The life-size nude was constructed without arms.
Daniel says in a press release he wanted viewers to focus on his image of the star’s “voluminous” pregnant stomach and her “lactiferous breasts”.
Kim is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West this summer.
The star has been the focus of intense criticism about her weight throughout her pregnancy.
Daniel said his work is a direct response to the scrutiny.
"People tend to look at the parts, like the creases in her armpits, or how she wore a dress that makes her look like a killer whale,” he told Los Angeles Magazine.
“I'm stripping it of the details people get stuck on, so they can see the beauty."
Daniel has produced controversial sculptures of celebrities in the past.
In 2006 he created a life-sized statue of Britney Spears, appearing naked as she gave birth to her son Sean Preston.
He has also created pieces of Angelina Jolie and Paris Hilton.
