Kristen Bell welcomes girl

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have welcomed daughter number two.

The couple are already proud parents to Lincoln, who was born in March 2013, and now have added another girl to their brood.

Dax took to Twitter to share the happy news, and also revealed the tot’s name.

“Delta Bell Shepard is here. She doesn’t look like either Kristen or me, but we’re gonna keep her anyway (sic),” he joked to his followers.

“The estrogen has now hit critical mass! Good luck, Dax. And welcome to the world DELTA BELL SHEPARD (sic),” Kristen added.

Kristen revealed she was pregnant in June, and the 34-year-old showed off her growing baby bump in a number of stunning gowns at red carpet events.

The actress often talks about family life but isn’t comfortable with media attention focused on her offspring.

She and Dax started a #NoKidsPolicy campaign on Twitter in which they refused to interview with news providers that publish pictures of celebrity children.

It’s something she feels passionately about, and now with two children her resolve will no doubt be even stronger.

“The paparazzi don’t respect anybody. Let’s start there. Their job by nature is disrespectful. Since I’ve gotten so vocal and have spoken out, they have left my family alone. And I’ve heard from other notable families as well that they had a respite for the first time in years,” she told USA Today.

She’s also previously talked about how having one child was hard enough for her as she’s not very good at multi-tasking.

“My sister has four kids. Having one kid — I can imagine how hard it is to have more than one,” she laughed. “Everything in my head is what’s hard about multi-tasking. Thinking about another task while trying to stay present. When I’m home, I put my phone high up on a shelf and [don’t] check it.”
