Lake Bell debuts baby bump

Lake Bell proudly flaunted her pregnancy on the red carpet Wednesday night.

The 35-year-old In A World actress-and-comedienne revealed to the world she and her husband Scott Campbell are expecting their first child together at the Vanity Fair Party held during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

The stunning star donned a red one-piece at the event, holding her belly during photo ops, and her tattoo artist spouse was by her side beaming from ear to ear.

Million Dollar arm star Lake met Scott while they filmed an episode of her show How to Make it in America in 2011. They became engaged on her birthday in March 2012 and the happy couple finally tied the knot on June 1, 2013 at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Lake has long been a champion of women’s expression in the entertainment industry.

She raised eyebrows last year by posing naked apart from a rose tattoo across her torso for the cover of New York magazine. And in response to criticism, the star insisted women should be able to embrace both their femininity and brains without fear.

"I struggle with the idea that intellectual expression has to cancel out a feminine or sexual one. If a filmmaker was on the cover of GQ looking sexy, I don't think the same conversation would be happening," she reasoned to British magazine Grazia.

Lake will next be seen opposite Pierce Brosnan and Owen Wilson in thriller The Coup, which is slated for release later this year.
