Lea Michele enjoys holiday ‘fireworks’

Lea Michele thoroughly enjoys her annual family Christmas “traditions”.

The 25-year-old Glee star prefers to spend the holidays in her native New York City with her kinfolk every year.

A frosty frolic through the park with her family close at hand puts a huge smile on Lea’s face.

“Every year my family and I go to Central Park,” Lea explained. “There’s a band and fireworks and it’s a big tradition for us.”

Although she enjoys time off, hardworking Lea can’t wait to crack on with her New Year’s resolutions in 2012.

The actress is determined to realise her ambitions in the New Year, even if it means making a big effort.

“[My main] New Year’s resolution is to keep working, doing things that are challenging, exciting and enjoyable. Maybe that will get me closer to playing my idols, Natalie Wood or Barbra Streisand,” she laughed.
