Lena Dunham has hinted she might be ready for marriage.
The Girls actor has been in a long-term relationship with musician beau Jack Antonoff since 2012.
However, Lena previously insisted she would not wed until it was made legal for same-sex couples to marry in every state in America.
The Supreme Court of the United Statea (SCOTUS) made the ruling official on Friday, leading Lena to hint she might just be ready for a big white dress and a trip down the aisle.
“Weddings are about to get a lot less boring," Lena tweeted Jack directly after the ruling was made.
“Get on it, yo...”
Lena wasn’t the only famous face expressing her delight at the ground-breaking decision.
While some stars, including Justin Timberlake and Kerry Washington kept their messages simple by just tweeting the hash tag #LoveWins, others went into more detail.
One Direction singer Harry Styles wrote: “Huge day for America.. Happy to see the news. All the love.”
“Sincere musical swells for humanity! #MarriageEquality,” actor Ryan Reynolds wrote.
Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez added: “Couldn't be more filled with love and hope at the Supreme Court ruling of Same Sex Marriage, I can say ‘it's about damn time" but I won't!’ ”
Former Oscars host Neil Patrick Harris, who himself married boyfriend David Burtka in September 2014, couldn’t control his emotions as he wrote: “It's a new day. Thank you Supreme Court. Thank you Justice Kennedy. Your opinion is profound, in more ways than you may know. #huzzah.”
Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson wrote a heartfelt blog post on TIME.com explaining his relief at the SCOTUS decision.
“As a kid, it’s a day I never thought I would see and it brings tears to my eyes to know that the next generation of Americans will grow up in a country where their love is equal and their rights cannot be denied,” he wrote. “I am so proud of everyone who has been on the front lines fighting for equality.”
