Lindsay Lohan plans to have kids once Speed-the-Plow finishes.

The 28-year-old actress has turned her life around after serving a 90-day court-ordered stint in rehab last year.

She's now working hard on her career, currently treading the boards in London, England, as a secretary in the play about the film industry. But when things die down, Lindsay wants to take her life in a different direction.

“After this play – whether or not I do another play right after – I want to do another movie, and then I just want to like, fall in love and have a family, with kids. I mean, that’s what I want after this,” she opened up to the latest edition of British Marie Claire magazine.

It doesn't seem love is on the horizon quite yet, as the redheaded star added she's not currently seeing anyone.

Also on her life tick-list are producing or directing a film and writing a book, which she says she's already in talks to do.

Lindsay's troubled past saw her caught up in a partying lifestyle and arrested for DUI. When she left rehab in August last year, she was mentored by Oprah Winfrey and appeared in a documentary on the talkshow queen's OWN channel.

She's grateful for the support and believes throwing herself into work will keep her on the straight and narrow.

"Acting is what I do, it's therapeutic for me, it's fun for me," she explained.

"Yes, it's my job, but I never went into it because it's like work; I got into it because it made me happy. At the end of the day, that's the most important thing.

"The diligence and focus that you have to have, that I maybe lost sight of for a little bit... Well, I'm prepared now to deliver, and all I can do is my best."
