(Cover) - EN Movies - Liam Neeson thought the concept of a sequel to Taken was “crazy” at first.

The actor is reprising his role as Bryan Mills in Taken 2. The original 2008 movie saw Bryan hunting for his daughter after she was kidnapped and he felt it would be difficult to follow up.

“The first one for me was just a one-off. It was a huge hit, but I thought ‘That’s it.’ Then Luc Besson [writer] came back and said, ‘We want to do a sequel.’ I said, ‘Come on, how can you possibly do a sequel? What, she gets taken again? It’s crazy!” he laughed to Empire magazine.

In the upcoming release, it will be Bryan and his wife Lenore – portrayed by Famke Janssen – who will be abducted. Maggie Grace plays their daughter Kim, who is determined to free them.

“I’m able to, in a very covert way, instruct her to find out where I am being held because a sack’s been put over my head and I’m in the middle of a f**king dungeon,” Liam explained. “It’s highly impossible yet equally possible.”
