Lindsay Lohan reportedly refused to kiss Charlie Sheen in Scary Movie 5.
The stars have cameos in the latest instalment of the spoof horror franchise, sharing a scene in which they are both in bed.
Initially they were supposed to lock lips in the movie, but it’s been claimed Lindsay was not happy about the idea.
“[Sources tell us] she was supposed to kiss Charlie three times during their Scary Movie bedroom scene, but she ultimately refused to do it because of Charlie's wild partying past,” reports TMZ.
It is unknown exactly what Lindsay was unhappy about, with the website claiming both she and Charlie signed documents to prove they have never suffered cold sores.
The 26-year-old actress apparently insists she had always made it clear she didn’t want to smooch the 47-year-old star on screen. However, bosses only offered a re-write of the script at the final moment.
While some of the kisses were taken out, body doubles were used for another.
Charlie apparently showed no concern about Lindsay’s request.
The two stars are thought to have struck up a friendship on set, with Charlie even giving Lindsay $100,000 to help with her unpaid tax bill. He admitted feeling a little put out that she hadn’t thanked him last week, prompting the actress to send him flowers and balloons in apology.
It was initially claimed that Lindsay was unhappy with her role in Scary Movie 5 as much of the script poked fun at her tumultuous private life, which has seen multiple stints in rehab and arrests.
However, further sources insisted she and Charlie helped each other through it and actually had a great time. He has also experienced personal struggles following his meltdown last year and was only too happy to make jokes at his own expense.
“They were ad-libbing,” an insider explained. “They were joking that they’ve both had a lot of issues over the past couple of years.”
