Elizabeth Hurley is terrified she isn't a proper grown up because she doesn't have photo albums.

The 49-year-old actress may be mother to Damian, who turns 13 next month, but she still doesn't feel like a real adult. There are certain things she expected to get finished as the years wore on, but for whatever reason she's never quite managed it.

"What I worry about is not getting a grip on the stuff which is not as organised as I'd like it to be. There's a barn at my house with so many boxes in it to be sorted and as I get older that makes me feel nervous. There are boxes labelled '1998 - to be sorted,'" she told British magazine Hello! "And I think, 'Oh my god, I can't leave this to my son. I've got to get a grip; I've got to get it done.' I should have photo albums by now - I'm a grown up and mature, but I still don't. I thought it would all fall into place but it hasn't."

Elizabeth and Damian are very close and he's always supportive of her endeavours, including her new TV show The Royals. However, she's very aware all that could change before too long.

"He'll hate me for saying this, but he hasn't hit puberty yet - his voice hasn't broken, he's not shaving, he's still a boy, although I know that could change any second and I'm prepared for it," she explained.

The actress calls life with her son "fabulous", although she knows there are a few things he would change. Not least her decision not to live in the limelight for a few years.

"Ironically, I gave up showbusiness to stay home for eight years and raise him when he would have loved me to be working and for him to be in my trailer with a tutor instead of at school," she laughed.
