Lohan ‘avoiding Mueller in rehab’

Lindsay Lohan is apparently “creeped out” Brooke Mueller keeps trying to strike up a friendship with her in rehab.

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife is undergoing treatment for drug addiction at The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California. It is the same facility where Lindsay Lohan is currently housed on court order.

Earlier reports suggested the pair have been banned from speaking to one another.

According to Radar Online, Brooke is using every opportunity to reach out to Lindsay, who attends the same nightly meeting with her.

The actress is said to be disturbed by the attempts.

“[It’s] creeping Lindsay out that Brooke seeks her out nightly at the meetings in an attempt to strike up a friendship,” a source told the outlet.

“Brooke is extremely eager to become besties with Lindsay while in rehab, and has told Lindsay how much they have in common.”

Brooke shares two children with Charlie. The 35-year-old socialite has been temporarily stripped of custody of their twin sons Bob and Max due to her drug use.

The courts recently granted temporary custody of the boys to Charlie’s other former spouse Denise Richards.

Lindsay and Charlie struck up a friendship on the set of Scary Movie 5. He has since helped her to pay off her debts to the IRS in addition to giving her a cameo on his US TV show Anger Management.

Brooke has reportedly tried to use their connections to the actor to strike up a commonality. The actress hasn’t been receptive, according to the report.

“Lindsay has said that Brooke is a drug addict, and wants nothing to do with her. Lindsay has told her treatment team to keep Brooke out of her group sessions,” the insider continued.

It remains unclear if Lindsay’s reported request has been taken into consideration by therapists at Betty Ford.
