Lindsay Lohan never handled Whitney Houston’s body, a coroner’s official says.

The actress suggested in a recent interview she "rolled" the late singer’s body bag while performing community service at the Los Angeles County Morgue in February 2012.

But a coroner’s official says that would be impossible as Whitney was never placed in a body bag, according to TMZ.

The official also told the outlet no one from a probation programme came into contact with Whitney’s body.

Lindsay was previously court-ordered to perform community service at the morgue following her conviction in a necklace theft case, which violated the terms of her probation from an earlier drink driving case.

She branded her duties “inappropriate” during a recent interview with UK newspaper The Telegraph, insisting she was singled out to perform the most gruesome tasks.

“[Working in the morgue was] f’d up and inappropriate – because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: ‘No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can,'” she claimed. “It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston,” she said.

Whitney passed away on February 11, 2012. An autopsy was reportedly performed on her body the following day.
