Mendes and Gosling’s ‘wedding plans’

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling will reportedly “get formally engaged over the summer”.

Eva, 41, and her 34-year-old beau have been dating on and off since September 2011. And following the birth of their daughter Esmeralda in September last year, the pair are apparently ready to take the next step in their relationship.

“They’ll get formally engaged over the summer and don’t want a long engagement,” a source told America’s OK! Magazine.

According to reports, Eva has already set her sights on the perfect diamond. Following Lady Gaga’s engagement to Taylor Kinney, Eva is said to be keen for Ryan to pick out a similar jewel.

“She wants a 10 carat princess-cut diamond solitaire – she loved Lady Gaga’s ring and was openly admiring its design to Ryan, who’s taking on board all her wishes,” the source said.

And the ring isn’t the only thing Eva has already picked out. The insider added that the actress has an idea for her perfect dress, and is loving her husband to be’s current attitude.

“Ryan’s so amenable right now and completely in love with her and their little girl, and Eva’s totally taking advantage of it,” the source added.

It was recently claimed that Eva is hopeful that she will fall pregnant with a second baby in the near future.

Although it’s claimed Ryan certainly wants to have another child with her, he supposedly has concerns over how a back-to-back pregnancy will impact Eva’s health.

Rumors are rife Ryan won’t start trying for baby number two until her doctor confirms it’s safe to do so.

“[He’s being] incredibly strict with paying attention to her doctor’s advice,” the source said.
