(Cover) - EN Movies - Michael Fassbender says he “quickly” forgets about his latest movie project.

The actor doesn’t like to think about how he could have improved his performance.

Michael has resolved not to have any regrets after filming has wrapped.

"It is difficult for me to specify after shooting, what a movie really taught me,” he explained. “I don't linger on a project once it's over. When it's done, it's done, I know that I'd give my best and I'm moving on the next movie. I forget quickly, it helps me to move forward."

Michael is thrilled to have worked with directors Steve McQueen and David Cronenberg. The Shame star revealed that although neither of the men appears to give a lot of direction on set, their guidance is crucial.

"What connects them [David Cronenberg and Steve McQueen], is excellence,” he told the French edition of Vogue. “These two directors think about their direction before shooting. The main part of their acting direction happens the week before the shooting starts. Once on the set, we are free to do what we want, they don't say a lot of things, a little remark here and there, that's it. Well, they are great manipulators, as great directors might be."

As Michael’s career has become more successful he has considered moving to Hollywood.

However, the 34-year-old confessed that Los Angeles feels quite alien to him.

"I tried [to live in Los Angeles], but... I need to go out and feel something immediately,” he revealed. “When I walk in the streets of Paris, London or New York, I like having people around me, feeling kind of an electricity. In Los Angeles, life is more insular. You go out from your home, take your car, drive, and that's it. And the weather bothered me, this impression to have the same season all year long. Time is running in a strange way. In a way, life is too easy there: sun is always shining, beach is not far."
