Nick Jonas: Olivia supports sex scenes

Nick Jonas’ girlfriend Olivia Culpo is “supportive” of his sex scenes.

The 22-year-old singer-and-actor gets raunchy for his latest role as a martial arts fighter in DirecTV series Kingdom. Although this could have potentially been awkward for his love, she is apparently completely fine with it.

“She’s very supportive,” Nick told Canadian show etalk. “In any relationship as long as there’s transparency and trust, then it's all good.”

The former Jonas Brother has been dating the 2012 Miss Universe winner for a year and a half.

He gushed that their relationship is happy and that he feels great about where they’re at. However, he also admitted reconciling that with the sexual nature of his current job has called for some consideration.

“There's the home-front side of it,” Nick explained, “which is a basic understanding that it's work, it's a job and our responsibility to tell these stories in an honest way.”

In Kingdom Nick tells the story of Nate Kulina, a beefy cagefighter who finds his identity in the boxing ring. The show addresses themes of sexuality, drug use, violence and prostitution. This may explain why the actor added that in spite of Olivia’s understanding, “it’s still weird” for their relationship.

Meanwhile, Nick also commented on his recent offer by Calvin Klein to model for them following his set of eye-catching underwear shots in America’s Flaunt magazine. Although he has not yet ruled it out, his interest in modeling is low on account of his affection for unhealthy food.

"I like pizza. I like cheeseburgers," Nick confessed. "If an opportunity came up and it felt right and didn't feel forced, then maybe. We'll see."
