Olivia Wilde gives birth

Olivia Wilde has given birth to a son.

The 30-year-old actress announced on Wednesday she and her fiancé Jason Sudeikis have welcomed their first child together.

To alert fans of the arrival, Olivia posted a black and white picture of herself cuddling the newborn on her Twitter account.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Otis Alexander Sudeikis has LEFT the building! (I'm the building),” she tweeted, attaching the sweet image.

A very pregnant Olivia graced the May 2014 issue of Lucky magazine.

And during an interview with the publication, the Drinking Buddies star explained how carrying a child has helped her mature more as a person.

“Pregnancy does shed away all of the b*****t. It gives you more empathy because you look at everyone and you think, 'You were a baby!'" she noted.

"Pregnancy brings you into this sort of commune - you feel connected to women in a way that you never have."

Olivia was known for her slender figure before her expectancy. But the brunette beauty embraced her newfound curves and eventually felt empowered to show off her baby bump.

"I just thought, oh I'm going to hide this forever," she recalled. "But I ended up getting kind of excited to show the bump, as a badge of pride. Like I'm a woman! Look at me making a human! I am a goddess!"
