Paltrow converting to Judaism?

Gwyneth Paltrow is converting to Judaism, according to a new report.

The actress announced her split from husband Chris Martin back in March.

Now, six months later, sources tell the New York Post’s Page Six she is “quietly” converting after following Kabbalah, which originated in the religion, for years.

A spokesperson for the actress had not commented on the report at press time.

Gwyneth was raised in a Jewish and Christian household as the daughter of producer Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner, calling it back in 2010 “such a nice way to grow up”, according to US Weekly.

"I don't believe in religion,” she noted at the time, however. “I believe in spirituality. Religion is the cause of all the problems in the world."

Years earlier, she recalled how her paternal ancestors served as rabbis, and how learning about her heritage affected her outlook.

“Like, 17 generations of rabbis — you see, I really am a Jewish princess!” she was quoted by The Guardian back in 2006.

She made a reference to her heritage once again last year, dubbing herself the “original Jewish mother”.

“Creating a meal for my family and friends, sitting together, eating, laughing and talking, that’s when I’m happy,” she told You magazine. “Oh my God, if you saw the amount of food that I do. I am the original Jewish mother. I make meals from these new recipes that look, smell and taste like the food I always cooked, but are also super healthy. That is an additional joy."
