Penélope Cruz finds breastfeeding “addictive”.

The Hollywood star has two children with her husband Javier Bardem – son Leonardo who turns two next month and daughter Luna, five months. Penélope has discussed the bond she shares with her kids when she feeds them.

“I was breastfeeding my son for 13 months, and I plan to do the same with my daughter,” she told Allure magazine. “[Nursing] is addictive. It’s hard when the day comes when you have to stop.”

Penélope looks stunning in a close up shot for the magazine’s front cover. The brunette shows off her impressive diamond engagement ring as she smoulders for the camera, proving just why she is considered one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.

The 39-year-old star has made some close friends during her acting career, most notably Salma Hayek.

In the interview, Penélope discusses how the pair are such good pals they even have special nicknames.

“She's one of my best friends. We call each other huevos [eggs],” she explained. "It was because when we were working together, we didn’t have children yet, so we used to sleep much more than now. So it was a way to call each other lazy. We slept in the same bed so many times and it was like she was always trying to wake me up and call me huevos.”

Penélope also spoke about her childhood in Spain. She has recalled how her laidback parents encouraged her to feel confident and creative.

“In my house every Sunday, everybody was cleaning the house. There was always music, and everybody was dancing, sometimes naked around the house,” she smiled. “Not hippie, but very free.”
