Ray Liotta feels privileged about having such easy access to sunsets.

The 60-year-old actor has chosen to make his home outside of the bustling city.

And his suburban residence affords him the privilege of viewing some beautiful natural scenery.

“I see the sun set all the time because I live on a mountain. We're always checking out the colours,” he told People magazine. “It's a chore for some people, but all I have to do is look out the window.”

The Sin City: A Dame to Kill For actor shares 16-year-old daughter Karsen with his ex-wife Michelle Grace.

Ray travelled to tropical paradise with Karsen recently and he’s hoping to take more exciting vacations soon.

“A few years ago my daughter and I went to Hawaii. I've been promising that we'll start doing it more, because you just don't really know what's around the corner,” he noted.

Ray has been active in the entertainment industry since 1978, having starred in classic pictures like Field of Dreams, Goodfellas, Hannibal, Blow and Muppets Most Wanted.

But the thespian admits he still gets starstruck sometimes.

“About a week ago Christopher Walken sat next to me on a flight to New York. He's somebody I've always admired,” he recalled, noting he was able to curb his inner fanboy glee. “I wouldn't say I was giddy and goofy, but it was nice. I kept my wits about it.”

When Ray isn’t focused on holidays, family, nature or other actors he admires, the star is normally looking for his keys.

He confesses for some reason the door openers always elude him.

“Every day, my keys. No question about it,” the star said of what he loses regularly. “I leave them in the same place, but inevitably I can’t seem to find them. As soon as I walk in [I put them] in a container, but the keys end up someplace different.”
