Rebel Wilson had a "conscious uncoupling" of her unitard in Pitch Perfect 2.
The Australian actress reprises her role of Fat Amy in the sequel to the 2012 hit, joining original co-stars Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow.
In the opening sequence of the movie Rebel impresses with some stunt work, which required a lot of attention to detail before shooting.
"I can say I do my own aerial stunts in the opening of the movie, I actually trained for five weeks just to be able to do that 40-second stunt routine. I never thought I would have any aerobatic skills but apparently I do!" she laughed to BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw.
"There's a conscious uncoupling of my unitard, let's just put it that way. That's a PG explanation. I did get a butt crack painted onto my Spanx for that scene. There was no actual nudity. Yeah you know in a movie, if you are gonna do nudity, you have to sign all these wavers before you actually shoot the particular scene and you get a bonus. I think it's like $50,000, extra. Cheryl and Mel, heads of make-up and hair, had to do it. They made it look realistic, it took them like 20 or 30 minutes."
In the movie, US President Barack Obama witnesses her flashing, but luckily the scene won't cause any offence, as First Lady Michelle Obama previously declared her love of the musical franchise to Rebel. The actress even attended a White House Correspondents Dinner, which she described as a "serious" event full of politicians.
Rebel is currently promoting the new movie around the globe and enjoying travelling in style.
"For Pitch Perfect 2 [I'm flying private], for Pitch Perfect one, no. I was like walking myself. It was really luxurious. They had chocolates, just in a bowl, and you could take however many you wanted, so I did," she said. "I almost stole the napkin rings as well. ‘Cause Elizabeth Banks, the director of Pitch Perfect 2, and I are on the private jet together on this little European tour we're doing and she got food from a restaurant and they bring it to the private jet and then you just take off and have a lovely dinner!"
