Reed 'moving too fast' with Somerhalder

Nikki Reed’s friends are reportedly concerned she’s moving too fast with Ian Somerhalder.

The former Twilight actress and her Vampire Diaries beau have already moved in together, just a few months into their romance.

And now Nikki’s friends are said to be worried their relationship is moving forward too rapidly.

“Nikki’s crazy impulsive,” a friend told America’s OK! Magazine. “Once she falls in love, she can’t think straight.”

Nikki, 26, has a history of throwing herself wholeheartedly into relationships, as she married American Idol contestant Paul McDonald in 2011 after just seven months of dating.

Nikki and Paul announced their split in March.

As well as moving in together, the star is also apparently concerning her friends with other behaviour.

According to reports, Nikki has altered her work schedule dramatically to spend as much time as possible with Ian, 35.

The alleged concerns about the couple’s relationship came as the actor spoke about how happy he is in his personal life.
While not commenting directly on his romance, Ian did say: “I couldn’t be happier if I tried.”

Ian spoke as he attended Heifer International's 3rd annual Beyond Hunger gala with Nikki, who was on hand to see her man honoured for his part in raising awareness of poverty and world hunger.

Speaking about his work with the charity, the actor explained: “I think about what we’re doing in places like Africa. People think food, let’s just feed people, but they don’t understand about organisations, like this one, who say feeding people is not the only thing we need to do.

“It’s a massive systemic component of creating sustainability globally and this organisation is doing it at the highest level.”
