Jeremy Renner says there are “rumblings” of him appearing in Captain America 3.

The star first portrayed character Hawkeye in 2011’s Thor and he reprised his role in 2012 film, The Avengers. He will play the superhero again in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is set to hit theatres on May 1, 2015, and now it appears Hawkeye may pop up in yet another Marvel film.

“There are rumblings of Captain America 3. I don’t know what’s going to happen there. I’ve got to find the time, man,” Jeremy laughed to Collider. “I’m trying to stay home and I can’t.”

The 43-year-old star welcomed daughter Ava into the world last March, his first child.

Since becoming a dad, Jeremy has made no secret of his love of fatherhood and desire to be at home.

"It's the best thing I've ever done! I like starting my day and ending my day with her. When I don't, life is quite miserable," he previously gushed to People magazine. "I thought I like what I do for a living, but now I have this little wonderful creature, and she kind of squashes all of that. She's messed up my life in the most beautiful way possible. She takes all my love."

The Bourne Legacy actor is currently promoting his film Kill the Messenger, which has an October 10th release date.

“Kill the Messenger is a great one for our company,” he told Collider. “It’s our first one we’ve produced and it’s setting a tone for what we want to do to the public and to other people that want to make movies.”

Jeremy appeared in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol in 2011 and his busy schedule includes Mission: Impossible 5, which has a December 2015 release date. Additionally he’ll be filming a Jason Bourne sequel soon that currently holds a July 2016 release date.
