Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter moves out

Rosie O’Donnell’s adopted daughter has moved in with her birth mother.

Chelsea turned 18 on Monday. And as she reached the landmark age, Chelsea made the decision to move to a remote town in Wisconsin to live with Deanna Micoley.

TMZ.com claimed that Rosie warned Chelsea that if she made the decision to go and live with Deanna, she would cut her off financially.

However, Chelsea decided to make the move anyway.

Rosie’s representative Cindi Berger confirmed the news to the New York Daily News, telling the publication: “Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother. This was her choice."

Chelsea’s departure from Rosie’s house comes after she caused a man hunt earlier this month when she ran away from home.

After Rosie got the police involved, Chelsea, who suffers from mental illness, was found safe and unharmed by cops last Tuesday in the New Jersey home of Stephen Sheerer, an alleged heroin addict.

Sheerer was arrested a few days later, facing communication of obscenity and child endangerment charges.

Deanna gave Chelsea up for adoption when she was just two months old. She was then adopted by Rosie and her now ex-wife Kelli Carpenter.

Following Chelsea’s disappearance last month, Deanna said she was fearful about her daughter’s wellbeing.

“I'm concerned, she's going to be 18 next week and can make her own decisions but I'm just worried about her well-being and what's going to happen to her,” Deanna told the Daily Mail Online.

Deanna was then asked what she would like to tell Chelsea, with the 38-year-old replying: “I love you and I'm glad your safe and my door's always open if you need a place to live. Anything you need just ask.'

“I may not have much but whatever I have is hers. Whatever I could give her I'd give her and if I couldn't I'd ask for help to give it to her.”
