ScarJo feels less confident with age

Scarlett Johansson doesn't feel more confident with age.

The gorgeous Avengers actress is gearing up to celebrate her 30th birthday in November this year. But rather than growing into herself, the blonde beauty has joked that she felt more comfortable when she was younger.

"No! I was much more confident then," she laughed to the British edition of OK! magazine when asked if she feels more confident than she did five years ago.

For many actresses, growing older is a worry. Luckily being a twin has helped Scarlett see the ageing process in a more positive light.

"It's not the end! Come on, it's not that bad," she grinned about turning 30. "I embrace it and I look forward to it. It's funny, I have a twin brother [Hunter], and so I've shared my life with somebody. I look at him and I say: 'I can't believe you're turning 30,' and he says: 'Well you're turning 30 too.' Maybe I have perspective with him. I feel like I've accomplished a lot, but I've got plenty more to go."

Scarlett has been dating Romain Dauriac since 2012 and the pair got engaged in September last year. The star has always been realistic about sacrificing aspects of her private life for her career.

"There are things about being in the public eye that are sh*tty and annoying but, at the end of the day, I haven't had this huge backlash," she admitted. "You don't ever wish for your anonymity until you don't have it anymore, and then you can never get it back. But it's part of the give and take."
