Scarlett Johansson can’t wait to have her family “all in one place” for the holidays.

The 30-year-old actress has a hectic work schedule, and life's only getting busier since she welcomed daughter Rose Dorothy earlier this year with husband Romain Dauriac.

And Scarlett admits she’s looking forward to sharing the holiday spirit with her loved ones and little Rose.

Asked of her favourite part of the season, the actress told People.com: “Getting to see my family all in one place. I travel so frequently for work, it’s one of the only times we all get together.”

Scarlett also shared some of her favourite holiday traditions.

“I like to watch old movies, read and bake. My favourite holiday movie is Home Alone 2, believe it or not!” she confessed.

A favourite holiday food also gets her feeling festive.

“The smell of rice pudding always reminds me of the holidays,” Scarlett said, adding that it’s a big hit with the whole family.

“My father makes a traditional Danish pudding with a cherry sauce that is totally decadent and delicious. And, my family cooks a Christmas pudding every year that is like a tapioca sort of a pudding with a cherry sauce, warm fruit sauce,” she explained, reminiscing: “It cooks like for the entire day before and the entire house smells like vanilla, because the recipe calls for fresh vanilla. So it is a very Christmas-y scent to me.”
