Scarlett Johansson: Hopkins is a lion

(Cover) - EN Movies - Scarlett Johansson has compared Sir Anthony Hopkins to a “lion on the prowl”.
The blonde bombshell has been working with the legendary actor on an Alfred Hitchcock biopic.
Anthony plays the famed filmmaker and Scarlett was amazed by the energy the 74-year-old brought to the movie set.
“He has a truly remarkable presence – almost like a lion on the prowl who finds just the right moment to pounce,” she laughed to Flicks and Bits.
“It’s incredible to feel that kind of energy coming at you. Hitch could not have been taken on by a lesser actor. I think Anthony has all the sweetness, the sadness and the intelligence that was required. It was all there on the page but to actually experience Anthony as Hitch was a once in a lifetime thing.”
Scarlett plays the part of Janet Leigh, an actress and friend of Alfred’s.
In preparation for the role, the 27-year old spoke to Janet’s daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis, to get a feel for her character’s personality.
“I was very fortunate to have an exchange with Jamie Lee, who was so lovely and so supportive, and you could tell a very proud daughter. She sent me beautiful family photographs and spoke so highly of her mother – as everyone does in the industry,” Scarlett gushed.
“From everything I heard and read about her, she was such a grounded, humble woman and a wonderful mom, first and foremost, which I think really informed me. More than transforming into Janet Leigh, for me it was about capturing her essence.”
Hitchcock also stars Dame Helen Mirren and Jessica Biel and will hit cinemas worldwide from early next year.
