Amanda Seyfried is petrified her sister's wedding guests will get too drunk and trash her home.
The 29-year-old star has offered up her country home in Stone Ridge, New York, for her sibling's upcoming marriage ceremony. She is hugely looking forward to the occasion, although of late that's been tinged by a hint of anxiety.
"My sister's wedding will be fun, but I fear everyone is going to get too drunk. I said to be brother-in-law, 'So, we're just going to do wine and beer, right?' and he's like, 'No, a full bar...' I'm like, 'Nooo!' I don't want people to trash my property or f**k with my horses," she told British magazine Marie Claire. "Isn't it crazy that's what I'm worried about?"
Amanda is in a long-term relationship with actor Justin Long, but she doesn't know if they'll tie the knot. She definitely doesn't want a "big wedding" if she does accept a proposal, which she believes is in part because of her job.
The star spends a lot of time gracing red carpets in pretty dresses and wearing designer gowns in work, so if she has a special day she wants it to be much more intimate.
"Not really. I mean, sort of," she replied, when asked if she and Justin have discussed marriage. "You never know how committed you are when you're [both] always working, it's just a good feeling to know that you love each other. That's the most important thing. It's like, 'Are we here?' We love each other, we respect each other, and it's a nice place to be. I just don't want the big wedding. My sister's wedding is going to be so much better, because none of the attention will be on me."
Although she appears to have mixed feelings about marriage, Amanda is much clearer about her family plans. She cannot wait to be a mother and has started to worry about when it will happen for her. Her emotions are mixed though; on the one hand she has fears about leaving things too late and on the other she feels if people want a child they'll have one - "even if you're 80".
"I feel good, I was really excited to be 29, because it's my lucky number. But now, I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off," she said of her upcoming 30th birthday. "That's what I'm feeling... Once you've turned 30, you might only have a 20 per cent chance of getting pregnant [each cycle]. And that's if everything's working well... I need to get on it... I want a child, badly; I want to be a mother, badly. That's what I feel. I've been feeling it for, like, two years."
