Sienna Miller is reportedly positioning herself to become a "Hollywood big-hitter".
The 33-year-old actress took some time away from the limelight after welcoming her daughter Marlowe with her fiancé Tom Sturridge in 2012. She slowly began her return to centre stage this year with roles in Foxcatcher and American Sniper, and she was chosen as one of the jury members at this month's Cannes Film Festival. Apparently, this is the beginning of big things for the blonde star.
"Sienna is more than aware that this is her moment and seems determined to capitalise on it. She was in the wilderness, but has crept back into demand. This is her chance to push for the major roles that will establish her as a Hollywood big-hitter," an insider told British magazine Grazia.
Tom is also an actor and is fuller supportive of Sienna's decision to push herself. The pair have apparently been working out how they will look after Marlowe together, with Tom happy to do everything he can for his partner to fulfil her dreams.
The couple began dating in 2011 and are engaged, but at the moment a wedding isn't on the cards. That doesn't mean they aren't happy though, it's just they are focused on other stuff at the moment.
"She and Tom are perfectly happy. The only reason he didn't accompany her to Cannes was because he is starring in American Buffalo at London's Wyndham's Theatre," the insider said. "The engagement definitely still stands. They're currently shopping around for a perfect country house, although they're no closer to setting a date for the wedding."
Sienna retreated from fame after her personal life began to overshadow her acting work. She enjoyed a high-profile romance with Jude Law which was marred by him being unfaithful, and also had a relationship with married father-of-four Balthazar Getty.
"It had become difficult for me to get the world I wanted... I sabotaged things," she previously told Esquire magazine. "I burnt a lot of bridges."
