Simon Pegg wouldn't hesitate to walk away from Hollywood.

The British actor has been a recognisable face since he starred in late 90s TV show Spaced. His transition to Hollywood has been more recent, but with roles in movie franchises like Star Trek and Mission: Impossible, he's now just as well known over the pond.

That's not to say work is everything to him though.

"Absolutely [I could walk away]. I mean, I'm hoping it doesn't come to that, but it's possible," he revealed to British magazine Hello! "But I'm so lucky. Sometimes I forget it's my job and I say 'yes' to things. My agent says, 'Why didn't you tell me you were doing this job?' And I think, 'Oh yeah. I'm supposed to get paid for it.'"

Simon wed music publicist wife Maureen in 2005 and they have daughter Matilda, five, together. With three new projects currently in production the 45-year-old is as busy as ever. But knowing he has a loving family unit makes working away from home that little bit easier

"I genuinely love work, but I've started measuring my success by how happy I am, not what I do or who I work with. What really matters is my home life, having somewhere stable and loving to go back to. I love being married and have a kid," he smiled.

Simon can next be seen in Man Up, which is slated for a May release. Lake Bell co-stars in the romcom, about a single woman who finds her perfect boyfriend after being mistaken for his blind date.
