Bryan Singer’s sexual abuse accuser Michael Egan claims he experienced “evil”.
On Wednesday Egan filed a lawsuit in Hawaii federal court claiming the X-Men: Days of Future Past director sexually abused him 15 years ago, when he was 17.
He and his lawyer Jeff Herman held a press conference on Thursday in which Michael, now 31, made further allegations.
“At the house, it was drugs put in drinks. Liquor poured down my throat. Rules in the house: no swimsuits, no clothes out by the pool area,” Egan recalled of what occurred at the alleged sex parties held in an Encino, California, mansion, according to Page Six.
“Various types of sexual abuse [took place]. You were like a piece of meat to these people. They’d pass you around between them. If I could define what that house was, it’s evil.”
He went on to say he was “fearful” of the men running the alleged operation, as oftentimes punishment for not taking orders would result in having “a gun put in your mouth”.
Egan also claimed Los Angeles authorities were informed by his mother of what was going on, but his allegations landed on “deaf ears”.
Singer has vehemently denied the allegations against him, with his lawyer Marty Singer claiming they are “completely without merit”.
"We are very confident that Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit,” the attorney stated. "It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at the time when Bryan's new movie [X-Men: Days of Future Past] is about to open in a few weeks."
Variety previously reported Egan’s lawyers claim Singer, now 48, provided him with drugs and alcohol and flew him to Hawaii on more than one occasion in 1999.
Marc Collins-Rector, the former chairman of Digital Entertainment Network, is also named in the lawsuit, but not as a defendant. He has been accused of initiating the abuse and arranging for Singer to carry out the alleged acts on Egan at a Californian estate.
Collins-Rector is a registered sex offender and in 2004 pled guilty to luring minors across state lines for sexual acts.
