Snooki 'welcomes daughter'

Snooki has apparently given birth.

The Jersey Shore star - real name Nicole Polizzi - and her fiancé Jionni LaValle already have two-year-old Lorenzo together and in April they announced she was pregnant with baby number two.

Now Star magazine is reporting the couple welcomed a baby girl called Giovanni in the early hours of this morning. According to the publication, she weighed 6lb. 7oz although at the moment there is no official confirmation.

Just yesterday the 26-year-old took to her blog to complain about having to wait for her little one to arrive.

"Guess what, I’m still freaking pregnant. Omg! I can’t deal with this anymore. I feel like I’m going to be pregnant forever. This time when I was pregnant with Lorenzo, I had already given birth so I’m aready a step behind," she lamented in the post.

"I gave birth to Lorenzo two weeks and two days early! I feel like I am I going to be overdue. I’m at that point where I can’t move, I can’t sleep, I’m waking up 20 times throughout the night, rolling out of bed, waddling to the bathroom and prayng that my mucus plug falls out and my water breaks and I’m just ready to go at this point. (sic)"

She's been keeping active, helping with her house move to get the birth going. The star has also been googling tricks for inducing labour, and now it seems something must have worked.

"I tried eating spicy food, now that’s a lot for me because I hate spicy food," she explained.

"If I have a mild salsa, it hurts me. I don’t like spicy, I cant do it. I ate a jalepeno pepper from my mother-in-law’s garden and I threw-up and gagged and I was still pregnant and had the worst poops ever and it just made me more stressed. (sic)"
