Snooki's not embarrassed by Jersey Shore past

Snooki has defended herself against those criticising her Jersey Shore past.

The reality star, real name Nicole Polizzi, says she will never be embarrassed about her rowdy antics on the hit MTV television series.

Snooki also insists that she will make sure her 23-month-old son Lorenzo knows that her drunken behaviour took place a long time before his arrival.

Twitter user @CraicRabbit blasted Snooki, writing: “How embarrassed will u be when ur son finds out u were on JerseyShore (sic).”

But the pint-sized starlet was quick to respond, retweeting the message and replying: “Not embarrassed. It is what it is & way b4 him (sic).”

Snooki then retweeted a message from @GeauxGabby which read: “Folk LOVE steadily hating on @snooki She bad as hell now and married. Always bringing up the past. (sic)”

“Mhmm,” agreed Snooki.

The 26-year-old reality TV personality is currently expecting her second child with soon-to-be husband Jionni LaValle.
The star recently celebrated at a Great Gatsby themed bridal shower attended by friends and family.

“It was so much fun an so cool to see all of my guests dress in 1920s outfits! It was a total girl party and I loved it (sic),” she gushed in her Celebuzz blog.

She also revealed that she made the decision to host the event herself – because she was so particular about how she wanted it to be held.

“Instead of having the shower thrown for me I threw it myself because for some reason I’m a control freak about my whole wedding,” she added. “Bridezilla' I mean if the shoe fits LOL… (sic)”
