Somerhalder’s ‘mystery girl’

Ian Somerhalder has been linked to a new mystery girl.

The Vampire Diaries actor, who famously dated co-star Nina Dobrev for three years, was seen cosying up to an unknown woman while leaving a farmer’s market in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon.

Just Jared reports Ian could be seen giving the lucky lady a “kiss on the cheek” and “tenderly” brushing her hair out of her face.

The sweet moment reportedly took place in front of actress Nikki Reed, who has also been linked to the actor in recent weeks. The trio reportedly enjoyed a brief conversation not long after.

Ian and Nikki were seen together earlier in the day, with the actor giving the Twilight star several hugs are they shopped around.

It’s not the first time the pair have been seen together. Hollywood Take reports they were also spotted enjoying a jog on Saturday.

Ian was also recently linked to former American Idol contestant Molly Swenson back in April, but the singer swiftly took to Twitter to dismiss the claims.

The actor and his famous ex, Nina, meanwhile split early last year. But the former couple have insisted there is no bad blood between them, and even shared a kiss at this year’s People’s Choice Awards while accepting the prize for Best Chemistry.

“It's just honest. All it was was just honest. You call a spade a spade,” Nina explained to E! News at the time. “I was trying to figure out, like what do you say in that situation?

“We were like, well, we're cool, we're friends and co-stars. He's a great person, I'm a great person… I mean, I think I'm pretty awesome. So it doesn't need to be awkward and I think everyone expected it to be so awkward. We made fun of ourselves and just had fun,” she said.
