Kevin Spacey says he “can sleep on a food tray” after mastering the art of resting on a plane.

The 55-year-old actor has been active in the entertainment industry since 1986.

And Kevin’s gotten so used to travelling internationally for work that he can find a restful nap in almost any uncomfortable situation.

“Basically, I am able to travel so much because I have cracked jet lag,” he revealed in an interview with Global Business Travel magazine. “I can sleep anywhere – even on a food tray.”

Kevin’s work on Netflix show House of Cards has earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

Although he appreciates accolades of this sort, the thespian is more practical in his approach to professional duties.

“I just get on with it. I make long-term goals, take the long view, and surround myself with a very talented and focused team,” he explained. “If I’ve learned anything [from House of Cards], it’s that I think great leadership is born in the moment. It’s about how a leader reacts, and very often that is what shows, that they had a quality for leadership that they had not revealed before.”

House of Cards is filled with intrigue surrounding corrupt politicians in Washington D.C.

But Kevin isn’t sure all decisions made in America’s capital can be classified as sinister.

“I think history proves that change happens when one person pushes something uphill until a following occurs and the people demand change,” he said.
