Tori Spelling’s husband reportedly got her a spinning diamond ring for their seventh wedding anniversary.

Dean McDermott found an expensive piece of jewellery from designer Neil Lane as the couple prepared to renew their marriage vows.

To add a special element to their annual celebration, Dean chose a piece that was out of the ordinary.

“Dean wanted something unusual, different and something very special and celebratory,” Neil told People magazine. “Every year he gets Tori a ring to honour a renewal of their vows and this year, their seventh year of marriage, was really important to him. He loves her so much and it had to be special.”

Apparently the jeweller was given just a few days to make an extravagant embellishment for the actress’ finger.

Eventually a flexible ring set was produced for the former 90210 star. The jewellery is set in 18k gold with more than 150 small rose cut diamonds for a total of around three carats.

“I had less than a week to come up with the perfect gift,” he confessed. “It spins around! It’s a diamond ball, a little diamond world, and Tori can spin it on her finger.

“Tori and Dean are so interconnected and she is, literally and spiritually, the world to him. I wanted to make a sphere, a world all in diamonds.”

Dean presented his wife and mother of his four children with it last week.

Apparently she was thrilled with the ring from Neil who has worked with them for some years.

“Tori loved it! Dean is very romantic and sentimental and he totally adores her,” he admitted. “The ring represents the significance of their relationship. She rocks his world!”

In August last year Tori could have lost her life in labour while delivering her and Dean’s fourth child Finn due to placenta previa. She made a full recovery after spending ten weeks in the hospital.
