One lucky fan has the chance to land a walk-on role in Star Trek Beyond.

On Tuesday July 14 the Star Trek: To Boldly Go contest was officially launched via Omaze.

This contest asks fans to donate a minimum of $10 to be eligible for a walk-on part in Star Trek Beyond, the big budget sci-fi movie directed by Justin Lin that is due to reach American theatres on July 8, 2016.

Money earned from the Star Trek: To Boldly Go campaign will benefit nine children’s charities; including Brave Beginnings, Kids Can, Camp Sunshine, Direct Relief, Heaven Homes, Koreatown Youth and Community Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Make A Wish Foundation and Time Is Precious.

In addition to potentially starring alongside the likes of Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg and Zachary Quinto in Star Trek Beyond, those who donate will receive loads of other prizes depending on how much cash they shell out. A donation of up to $250 will see fans receive cool, specially designed t-shirts that feature designs like Spock’s head and the Enterprise space ship silhouette. Set props are available to those who donate $10,000 or more and a massive $100,000 donation will see one lucky fan become the recipient of a replica of the Captain’s Chair, which is located in the main deck where Captain James T. Kirk doles out orders to the starship Enterprise crew.

The Omaze campaign video, which features several members of the cast, also unveiled exciting casting news, with confirmation Idris Elba will be a part of the ensemble.

“Idris, glad you could join us,” his castmate Chris noted in the video.
