Suri Cruise’s missing dog has reportedly been found.

The eight-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise lost her chihuahua Honey in Los Angeles last Sunday after being introduced to the pet just weeks ago.

And now TMZ is reporting Honey has been saved from the streets by Lucky Puppy Rescue & Retail, a non-profit organisation in Studio City, California that helps find homes for abandoned animals.

According to the website, about 50 posters were put up around the Beverly Hills area in search of the animal and there is a $1,000 reward for Honey’s safe return.

Apparently Lucky Puppy amped up their search efforts when they received reports of the dog being sighted twice this week.

Honey is said to have been rescued on Wednesday in the Benedict Canyon area of Los Angeles, near where she was originally lost. This region of the city is rich with coyotes and it is miraculous the little dog survived so long on her own.

The outlet claims Honey is “in good shape” and is receiving medical care from a veterinarian. Sources report animal rescue workers were able to identify Honey by scanning a microchip in the dog’s body.

Katie hasn’t verified publicly if this dog is indeed her daughter Suri’s and at press time it also remains unclear exactly who, if anyone, will receive the $1,000 reward.

Katie and Suri moved into a home in Calabasas, California earlier this month after residing on the East Coast in New York City for several years.
