Tamera Mowry-Housley reveals twin sister Tia knew of her pregnancy before anyone was told.

The 36-year-old stars came to fame after starring together on hit Nineties TV show, Sister, Sister.

In January, Tamera announced she and husband Adam Housley are expecting their second child together, but Tia knew of the expectancy far before the information was vocalised.

“We have this thing where we wait until eight weeks because we want to make sure everything is okay,” Tamera told People magazine.

“But my sister gets it because we’re twins. She just called me and she was like, ‘Are you pregnant?’ And I said, ‘Yep, I am!’ ”

However, informing her Fox News correspondent husband Adam resulted in quite a different scenario.

Tamera visited him at his job to break the news.

“I surprised him at work and then I gave my purse to Adam and I was like, ‘Adam, I can’t find my keys. I’m having a really hard time … Did I put them in my purse?’ ” she recalled. “Then he was looking through my purse and saw the pregnancy test.

“Adam is always shocked and excited all at the same time. It’s quite a sight to see!”

Tamera is currently pregnant with a daughter.

And the star says having a little girl is altering her mental state in a major way.

“I feel like I have to up my fashion game already,” she joked. “I want to be an inspiration to her from birth. I already know I’m going to do my hair, I’m going to do my makeup because it’s so weird what having a daughter does to you. You just become more girly.”

Tamera married Adam in 2011 and they welcomed son Aden in November 2012.
