Miles Teller doesn’t care that his new film Two Night Stand is low-budget.

The 27-year-old Insurgent actor portrays Alec in director Max Nichols’ new picture, which centres on a man and woman who meet online but are forced to extend their one-night stand due to a snowstorm.

Although the production budget wasn’t nearly as large as some of the other blockbusters Miles is involved in, the star couldn’t resist signing on to this project.

"I think for me every comedy, I just have to think that it’s pretty funny. And it didn’t matter the budget, like this is a low-budget, but I just thought it was a really cool idea,” he explained to Celebuzz. “And for an actor it’s nice when you can do a movie, I just thought it’d be an interesting acting piece with just me and one other character for pretty much the whole movie in one room. That’s an interesting concept, it kind of reminded me more of theatre than film."

Miles is attached to a ton of projects between now and 2017, and he has signed on to portray superhero Mr. Fantastic in the first two instalments of Marvel’s The Fantastic Four.

He hopes the film does as well as Marvel’s latest release Guardians of the Galaxy, which earned $617 million internationally since it hit theatres August 1.

“That was very successful. I joked about it a couple of years ago saying that it was just a matter of time until I play a superhero and now it happened and I’m very happy to do it with Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell,” Miles gushed. “Our special effects are going to be the sh*t because the guys doing them, Kevin Mack, is an Oscar winner. It’s like we have all the pieces around it to be successful, so I hope it all kind of shakes out that way, because you never know."

Miles also confirmed he’ll be filming director Damien Chazelle’s musical dramedy La La Land with Emma Watson next March.
