Theron and Penn ‘forced to reunite’

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn seemed to have despised their awkward forced reunion.

The former Hollywood couple called it quits on their romance in June after dating for 18 months.

It’s claimed the split was abrupt, as all of a sudden Charlize just started ignoring Sean, completely cutting him out of her life.
The Daily Mail reports this breakup strategy may have backfired, as the pair engaged in an incredibly coarse reunion while reshooting scenes for their forthcoming film The Last Face this week in South Africa.

The outlet published images of the exes blatantly ignoring each other and putting on stone faces while out of character on set. It seems Charlize and Sean didn’t even have eye contact with each other until they were forced to in front of the camera.
Charlize was photographed laughing and smiling while doing hair and makeup, with ex Sean nowhere near the beauty area.
It was previously reported the 39-year-old actress severed all contact with the 54-year-old actor, refusing to interact with him during their time at the Cannes Film Festival.

"Charlize wasn't responding to his calls and texts," a source told Us Weekly. "She just cut it off."

Charlize and Sean, who have been friends for 18 years, allegedly became engaged last December following a holiday in Paris.

But their trip to Cannes is said to have made Charlize realise she didn’t want to wed Sean.

Sean has been married twice before – to Madonna from 1985 to 1989 and to Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010.
