Tom Cruise dating rumours ‘utterly ridiculous’

Tom Cruise is reportedly “not even dating” his assistant Emily Thomas.

The 22-year-old was the actor’s aide on the set of his forthcoming film Mena and rumours are rife the pair are head over heels for each other.

But apparently the romance speculation is completely fabricated.

“[The rumours] are utterly made up and ridiculous,” a source told People magazine. “They're not getting married, They're not even dating. Nothing is going on. It's completely professional."

In fact, Emily is reportedly already coupled up. It’s claimed she is in a relationship with with her boyfriend, Alex Roberts, a 25-year-old director of a UK carpentry firm. Emily is said to have changed her Facebook profile picture recently to showcase a sweet picture of herself with beau Alex, who she is currently on holiday with.

Although rumours were rife suggesting Tom was so in love with Emily he’s even considered proposing, it’s now believed he is happy with his status as a bachelor.

Tom has been married three times in the past, having most recently called it quits with actress Katie Holmes in 2012 after six years of marriage.

Tom got down on one knee to ex-wife Katie, who he shares nine-year-old daughter Suri with, after just two months of dating.

The actor was also married to Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman, who he has adopted children Isabella and Connor with.

Tom is currently promoting his newest film Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, which is due to reach theatres this weekend.
